What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of over 60+ cannabinoids found in cannabis. Of these compounds, CBD and THC are usually present in the highest concentrations, and are therefore the most recognized and studied. Moreover, CBD attaches itself to certain receptors in the body;

CB1 receptors are found all around the body, but many of them are in the brain. These receptors in the brain deal with coordination and movement, pain, emotions and mood, thinking, appetite, and memories, among others.

CB2 receptors are more common in the immune system, helping with inflammation and pain.
